Neurotic Moon

This is a photo of the full moon from the patio in my back yard on January 8th, 2012.

This is the same shot after some cropping, filtering, and pixel manipulation using Camera+ and Photoshop.  I was loosely inspired by my recent work in EEG and brainwave research.  It reminds me of a busy neuron surrounded by dendrites.
